Square foot Strawberries Zone 5...Found them in gallon conta

Hello Zone 5 here 
So I thought I was too late...but I found strawberry plants! I have a 2X4 bed dedicated to them. I was going to find smaller plants and put one plant per square but this is all I could find, and organic
So I bought 2 plants each in one gallon buckets, they are pretty big and have berries already. They are Evie2 I believe. Since these are so much bigger, when transplanting do I put the whole thing in one square and get more this large or do these larger ones take up more space?
I also just found some small plants on the internet cheap with free shipping if I need to fill some "holes". Thanks
