Cape Gooseberry
I have two packs of cape gooseberry(physallis) seeds and wondered if there any specific tips that you guys can offer me!

Haven't grown Physallis for many years as over here the climate is not so good for it.
I have grown it under glass and it crops very well. I found it needed support with canes and string and was very prone to red spider....but this could be because it was under glass.
As I recall it does need quite a bit of space as the ' bushes ' are fairly large.

Are cape gooseberries related to tomatillos and groundcherries? They look similar, I seem to remember...
I can't answer the question because I've never grown them, but hopefully Jona's bump will generate new interest.
