New baby

Well the plant that I have been yearning for is now here.
After some delay my Theobroma Cacao (Chocolate Tree) made it to California. :)
It's going to be quite a ride taking care of it from what I read, but all for the better.

1 question I do have though is that the plant has some black marks on it on the top stem, is this something I should be worried about?
I would take pictures to show you but my camera isn't good enough to do that.

I got a chuckle thinking about Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka and Deep Roy as the Oompa Loompas, and the scenes of the "Sacred Cacao Bean." :lol: Good luck with your new tree. :wink:
