Does the variety of the pollinator affect taste of fruit?

I was wondering, does it matter what tree I use to pollinate with respect to the taste of the fruit?

For example, if I have a sweet cherry tree, and some of the cherries it produces are pollinated by another sweet cherry tree, and some of the cherries are pollinated by a decorative cherry tree with bitter fruit, will the cherries pollinated by the one tree taste different than the cherries pollinated by the other tree?

You had me very curious about your question.

Apparently pollination by a different pollinator has no effect on fruit's taste, only the seedling itself.

Thanks! If I understand that link correctly, the pollinator will not affect the taste of fruits but will affect the taste of nuts.

Now I'm a little worried about my hickory nut tree. I planted it next to another hickory nut tree that has nasty tasting nuts. I might have to cut down the bad tasting tree so it doesn't affect the good tasting one.
