What your apple tree has is more than likely Alternaria blotch (Apple Leaf Spot)
It is a fungal disease that over winters on the fallen leaves under the tree. In winter and sring when it rains droplets filled with fungal spores are splashed back up into the tree repeating the cycle. I had this problem here in wet western Washington 3 years ago. I went to my local extension office and they gave me loads of info on the disease and how to control it.
For years I would compost all my leaves. Now every November I rake up all the leaves in my orchard and burn them. If you live in an area that you can't burn the leaves ,then bag them up and put them out with the trash. I hope that helps

I spray my apple tree once a week with some stuff called Fruit Tree spray. They sell it at Farmers Co-op for $8 a bottle, Lowe's and Homedepot have it for $14 a bottle. I have one of those garden hose attachments that is just a pint bottle that attaches to the end of the hose. Fill the bottle with what every you like and turn on the water. Shake well before you spray it because it has a lot of white stuff in the bottom that needs to mix into the liquid. Fruit tree spray is basically a cure all it just about cures every thing a fruit tree can possible get. I had no apples on my tree for 18 years I tried every thing the experts claim is suppose to work then when I decided to do what I thought the tree actually needs that is when the tree made ripe apples. I feed my tree nitrogen once a week with plenty of water it made 14 heeping 5 gallon buckets of ripe red apples last year. This year looks like it is going to be another bumper crop of apples.
