I know this sounds stupid, but I planted a number of bushes etc last year/year before. They haven't had fruit before and now I have forgotton what on earth they are. Can I post photos on here for identification or can anyone help? I think I have some redcurrants/gooseberries etc, but I'm really not sure...

by all means, post pics...a few from different angles/distances, close-up of leaves/stems/flowers (if any)...

okay, what i see:
thorny and with veiny berries - gooseberries
without thorns could be another kind of gooseberry, or currant - currant tends to produce fruit in little clusters, where gooseberry has separate fruits on individual stems... lots of those berry pictures are pretty fuzzy, hard to say for sure.
pic #5 - no thorns or flowers....i'd say it's a volunteer of some sort, not a gooseberry or currant of any kind, that's for sure.
pic #6 - yup, raspberry of some sort.
pic #7 - yup, apple.
the last one with thorns, the leaves are way more gooseberry than raspberry.

Ok... here's some more photos of the berry type plants. Taken these with my mobile which doesn't have the best camera so they are a bit fuzzy.

there's a native clematis, C. virginiana, around here, that has a similar leaf, but that doesn't seem quite right. that's all i've got.

It's definitely some kind of fruit. I haven't planted any flowers there. We dug the fruit patch in........I'm completely stuck as to what it is though
