Growing a Citrus in the house?

Hi! ^_^
I was wondering if theres any possible way to grow an orange or a lemon tree in your house. I've heard that you have to have 2 citrus trees for polonation, but I'm really not sure it this is true at all.
Also, are there mini lemon and orange tree?

Thanks for reading .^.

Citrus can be grown in containers. You can keep them outside and bring them in for the winter. Your best bet is the Key Lime(a.k.a. Mexican Lime and/or Bartenders Lime). It is the smallest of the Citrus you see at the grocery store.

I have seen lots of posts from lots of people who have Citrus trees up North. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any posts about a successful harvest from any of these trees. Seems as though they will grow more like an ornamental than anything else.

there are a few cultivars of less well-known citrus that are hardier than the standard grocery-store kinds...there's a nursery near here that sells things that are supposed to be hardy to zone 6...but I think something day-length related is what keeps citrus from flowering/fruiting as you go north.
