Peach Pits growing in the compost. o.o

We were moving the compost today. And I discover that the rotten peaches from our peach tree that we had throwen in had over wintered and are now small sprouts. We've gotten at least ten so far, but since they're sprouts, what should I do? Should I plant them in pots in the same compost they were in? Should I put them in water? In cups in the window sill, or should I make a bed for them. We didn't plant the large peach tree in our yard. o.o What do I do?
