I air layered a sucker of a hardy cherry in May hoping to use it as a rootstock. 2 days ago I noticed it was losing leaves and today all the leaves are limp. I removed the leave mulch to check for roots but could see nothing.
Has anyone been successful with this method of propagating? Advice and comments please.
