Hey all -
I've had a heck of a time keeping my blueberries happy. This is my second season, and I'm noticing some strange symptoms. It seems that new leaves are coming incredibly curled and twisted up. And just yesterday I noticed a small percentage of the flowers (10-20%) were brown and rotted.
Anyone know what's up? I've noticed that my leaves tend to be a bit red, but I see that in every garden center on blueberries and figured it was just a natural occurrence. I figured it might be due to a nutrient deficiency or perhaps a high pH, so I mixed in some hollytone early this season.
Thanks for the help!

I don't think I can be of much help as there are just too many unknowns here: where you are gardening and what the weather has been like, soil and soil pH, species of blueberry or better yet cultivar,... Photos would help too.
It sounds a little like thrips which do produce twisted new growth but that is just a wild guess and I would not recommend initiating any kind of treatment based on a guess.

OK, I've uploaded images:

Here you can see the browning blossoms - it's probably about 25% of the plant now.

Here you can see the new leaves coming in curled and distorted.
The weather has been very wet recently, do you think maybe they're not draining well? As for the soil, I haven't checked the pH but have started feeding them with holytone.
