Robinia Lacy Lady

I bought a Robinia Lacy Lady 5 years ago at Wesonbirt arboretum. It didn't look like much at the time, but shortly after repotting it, it became my favorite. I repotted it again last year, and gave the roots a little haircut at the same time. Because of its shape and beauty of the leaves, I think this variety would work well as a bonsai, though I wnder if the branches are too brittle.

I know a lot of you are purists, but does anyone think it might be attractive, if not traditional?

Hi,
Yes it certailnly is a lovely bonsai like plant but also as you say very brittle and dosn't really stand up to the prunning as a bonsai. at least that is my opinion.
