How to Grow Japanese Maples? Zone9

I just want to make a few extra dollars from this.

Want to grow:
Acer Palmatum Dissectum
Acer Palmatum Atropurpureum
Sango Kaku
Gwen's Rose Delight (Shirraz)

Threads/links to help grow? Tips or suggestions are very helpful.
Thanks!

Hi,
If you want to grow Japanese maples I would suggest that you buy saplings and grow them on, as for Gwen's Rose Delight which is called SHIRRAZ which is a new variety propergated in New Zealand I think you may find problems sourceing it and if you do find it, it could be on the expensive side as it was only propergated about 10/12 years ago.
To grow maples from seed is a difficult and long time project.

Okay. So I'll head to the nursery and see what I can find.
What soil pot sizes and other things would I need?

Wow, you sound very new at this.... Are you sure you want to invest in a number of trees when you have very little experience? Younger, smaller trees are less expensive, but They are also more susceptible to pest and disease damage as well as handler error, and likely to expire. :?

Not invest in a number. Just start off with a couple.
Yeah; I am new at this. That's why I want a couple pointers before I go out to check them out.
