Sakura (Japanese Cherry) in Florida

Hi there,

I've been trying to find out (without much success) if any species of Japanese Cherry can survive (and bloom) in the central Florida area. Does anyone know? I spent many years in Japan and often miss the beautiful springs, so I was hoping to add a touch of it to my home.

I'm from Romania, and I have a similar problem. :). What cllimate would work for a tree like that? Hmm, I don't think it will grow in Romania, esspecialy in my garden.
