Bamboo poles

Hi

Can anyone tell me how you hollow out large bamboo poles. I want to put a garden hose through one but the membranes inside the poles are not easy to get to.

Hi,
You have just got to get a long iron bar or tube and just knock it through them.

Rebar works quite well, especially if you can sharpen the end of it. I've used it before to knock out the insides of bamboo for various purposes.
