Hi, I just bought a home in north Georgia and I have a Japanese maple in the front yard (see pic). Does anyone know what species this is? Also I'm planning to remove the bushes on the right hand side of the picture in the near future. The tree isn't very symmetrical at the base and I was considering removing one or two of the large branches on the bottom left hand side. Any thought or advice on this would be much appreciated. Thanks!
