After reading what Scott said, the temptation was too much. I found an Enkianthus (a very small one) and it's now planted, but in our front garden that doesn't look in the least Japanese.

It's only been in a couple of weeks, but some (racemes? pannicles?) - anyway, what look like little flower buds hanging on stalks - are already forming. The label says they're going to be pink.

Anyway, it leads to my main question - if I can eventually make a place for it in our back yard will it transplant easily?
