Invitation to a Japanese rock arrangement exercise

Nothing equals (or ever can equal, we're told) the rock arrangement at Ryoanji.

Still if you have a small area in your back yard, you might want to try making your own dry landscape garden (& save yourself an awful lot of lawn mowing as well as having something to contemplate, if you're into that sort of thing).

I don't have any such space: but I've been amusing myself pretending that I have - and assembling some imaginary rock layouts.

If you want to try doing the same thing, please feel free to download them and trying the same sort of exercise. I've included a 'blank' one ready for you to add whatever takes your fancy.

Maybe this will work...

Perhaps I shouldn't have used the html code or whatever it's called .... If clicking on it doesn't work, copy it into your browser -

You don't need the most powerful version of Photoshop to do this sort of thing. Photoshop Elements Versions 1.0 (or 2.0) are very nearly as powerful and in some ways more convenient (and a lot cheaper).
