Newbie here in search of info

I am completely new to this. Are there any good books or websites on this subject. I want to make my own bonzais and Japanese garden. I have zero experience in gardening. Thanks!

It might be a good idea to decide what you want first. Then we can help you in each step accomplish your goal.

Read The Gardens of Japan. its a large book about the history and principals, tools, variations, etc, of gardens and temples in Japan. Or just look at any book titled Japanese gardens at barns and noble or the library. Some of the plants in these gardens take practice to keep. Just ask Peit.
