Humming bird pictures from my feeders.

I sat outside pateintly this morning and snaped several photos of a humming bird at my feeder. There are times especially in the evening when there will be about half a dozen flying around the front yard at the same time. I enjoy watching their aerobatics very much.

I love the hummingbirds. Have lots of plantings to provide nectar but just see an occasional hummingbird. Finally, this week, placed two feeders out and now the birds are sparring like bantam roosters to get to the feeders.

Thanks for sharing the photos.

I have flowers planted around my feeders to and they eat out of the flowers to but not as much as the feeders. They really like Asian Lillies it seems like. I've also seen them at my Cosmos, Daylilies and Rose of Sharon bush.

Was kind of sneaky on this. Feeder is beneath wooden deck off of second floor bedroom. Took photos through the cracks without the birds knowing. Didn't get a chance to get any photos of the birds in flight but tom did a great job of that.
