Hi Folks,
I had two large, I thought unmovable, containers overturned by a Raccoon[s] last night. I think I was able to salvage three of the five watermelon plants, time will tell. My question, is there a repellent or some other means to keep the Raccoons at bay?
Thanks
Bart
In my area raccoons are a very big problem- they dig up gardens, knock over garbage cans, eat chickens, but lately, I've noticed that any liquid with a high portion of ammonia repels racoon well.
I wouldn't suggest simply spraying it all over your yard, but instead dipping tennis balls in it and placing them all over the yard. Each ball maybe a couple meters apart.
