Barn lot turtle

What a beauty! :) I have a large pond around my homestead filled with all sorts of wildlife...turtles, raccoons fishing for fish, frogs, toads, etc. But not once has a turtle come that far out of water.
Must have been a delightful experience!

It could have been looking for a place to lay it's eggs.
