Beneficial Soldier Beetles

So yesterday morning I was looking at our Chamomile flowers and noticed that there were all these little oblong beetles on them! I was shooing them off not knowing until later that they are beneficial insects! I did some research and found out that they eat aphids, caterpillars, grasshopper eggs and beetle larvae, among other insects around the garden. Then I saw that they were on more flowers other than the Chamomile and I was ecstatic when I found out they really help in the garden! Keep your eyes out for these little guys!

I had to look them up. I like their diet. :)
