So I have this wide variety of threats to my garden to deal with.
Waterbug gave me a fantastic example of a DIY cage to protect gourd family veg.
Also jal_ut had a another amazing idea of a radio playing metal music to deter critters.
I was curious if anyone has any other successful DIY critter deterrents that may be helpful. Thanks in advance and this forum is awesome!!

Well, I have most of those, minus armadillos and fox, but plus groundHOG and a variety of birds, small rodents, etc....
Only thing that works for me is fencing. I grow veggies in raised beds and I just fence in each bed individually, with fencing wrapped around stakes. I have traditionally used deer netting to cage the beds in completely, with a roof over the top. This year I am trying some plastic mesh fencing.
