I left a half empty bag of topsoil in my backyard and now there's a clutch of snake eggs in it. I think I disturbed them; I used some of the soil to plant a passion flower vine. I put the bag back where it was before afterward.
Should I do anything with the eggs? Bury them or something? It's awfully cold out today.

Yep just mulch them over and they should be just fine.

Ok, I buried them a little. I might put a bit more dirt on them when I get home from work, just to be sure.
I'm no snake expert, so I'm not even positive these are snake eggs. They are the size and shape of salmon eggs, except they're clear and colorless instead of orange. Since fish can't walk on land, I figured it'd have to be a lizard of some sort. The eggs seem kind of large to have come from one of the small 4-legged lizards around here, so I figured they must have come from a snake.
