spooky holloween light sensor for deer?

I've seen some cheap ones that do a strobe light and make nosie.
You think it would keep the deer away?

Some members have reported success with motion-triggered water sprayers. I don't have a deer problem (fortunately), but haven't read anything here or elsewhere about deer being sensitive to light. Noise, yes; light, no.

It'll work for awhile, until the deer realize nothing bad happens to them. Once they get used to the sound and motion, it won't be any different for them than crossing a noisy little creek or a country road. The sensors that turn on your sprinklers, spraying the deer with water, might be more effective, but I've heard stories of deer even becoming acclimated to them, just moving away from the spray. For a deer, it's not much different than standing out in the rain.
