Tiny red bugs

I dug up my pepper plants and potted them so I could bring them inside for the winter. My sister is away at college and a window in her room faces south so I put my plants up there and there seem to be a lot of little red... I want to say ants but I'm not sure: they are too small to take a picture of. Is there anything I can spray or feed the plant to kill these bugs since the plants are in a bedroom?

Franco, could they be red spider mites?

Red ants or flying red ants?

Maybe just tiny red spiders?

Franco, if they are spider mites, spraying just about anything organic every 3 days for a couple of weeks should get rid of them. I would suggest you tap a branch over a piece of white paper to see if they fall off your plants. They usually look like tiny specs on the paper. You can use insecticidal soap, citrus oil or a garlic/pepper spray. They are usually attracted to stressed plants, especially if they get dry. They don't like humidity much.
