Love those birds!

I have a lot of my transplants and cool weather loving houseplants outside, staying safe inside the New Kitchen Garden enclosure.

Since last evening, I've been seeing a female cardinal hanging around, perching on the strawberry jar, hopping down somewhere.

I finally caught sight of her reaching somewhere between the seedling transplants and the rosemary bringing out a green caterpillar in her beaks! Didn't even know the munchers were in there, but she keeps coming back so there must be a good supply... that no doubt WOULD'VE eaten up my precious babies!

All right! Birds on Patrol! :D

And you can bet that the caterpillar *did* have designs on your plants...
