I am contemplating planting kiwi along a fence kind-of near (but not in the shade of) a black walnut, and have not been able to find anything on how kiwis are affected by them. Does anyone know whether the kiwi could survive and produce relatively near the tree? Also, I have heard there are some plants which can be planted near a black walnut to negate the effects of the juglone. Is this true?
