I'm on a backyard bird count site that logs birds from January 1st til December 31st. So far this year my bird count list is as such.
My category is, suburban, Suffolk LI NY. My total to date is 46 different species of birds. If you hear them, see them in your yard, or they are a fly over they count. To date this is what I have logged. I'm sure my count could be a little higher, but them little brown birds are very difficult to tell apart.
