Anytime the shrub isn't in growth mode, fall, winter, spring.

Prune it in late autumn or early winter. When you do, cut about a quarter of the old grows out at the base of the plant to make room for new growth.

Good Luck

I bought a mock orange bush 25 years ago for folks - it has big orange blooms. is this a different species? everything else I do searches on they look like white blooms. any help?
