where can I buy a new orleans crape myrtle?

In Raleigh nc and Goldsboro nc, I have seen the deepest true purple crape myrtle. I have looked up different varieties and cannot find one that looks that dark. the closest I found was the new orleans. Now I need to find a nursery that carries it.

Some say its pink others say it's purple but whatever the case may be it is known as a groundcover, two feet at most, not as a flowering tree.

ok, so what is the variety that grows over 8 ft tall and is a true deep purple. I have seen them, I know they exist. I cannot seem to find them on any web site showing all the different ones.

I've read Velma's Royal Delight is a deep purple but the pictures I've seen they are more pink. I have 2 weeping purple, but have no clue of the variety. Also I took some one gallons from the trash at a wholesaler's once and got some deep purple but they don't get more then 4 feet. You might want to call this place to find out what they beleive is a deep purple. Better to ask a grower then a gardener.
