Cherry Tree and Leaves are turning yellow?

I planted two cherry trees last year. one is a I think a montgomery? The other is a bing. They were doing great growing very well gained about 2 -3 feet this summer. The Bing Cherry trees some of the leaves are turning yellow. I did put Fertilizer spikes into the ground and it gets watered twice a week. What could be wrong? The spikes were put in the later part of May.

It could be any number of things. Could have had a bad winter and reacted slowly or there were air pockets when you planted it. You know if you planted it correctly. It takes a while for plants to acclimate.
