I planted a japanese fantail pussy willow. it looked good when I bought it. it seemed to be ok for about 6 weeks and then over night it tuned brown. I watered for the most part. I left it in place with the hopes that the roots are ok. any suggestions?
thanks!

Willows are famous rooters and not shy about water either. I don't like the blue fertilizer as all the recommended dosages are just a step shy of deadly and I 'm not sure about that last step either...
Cut the dead brown stems off (scratch the bark first to check; if it's still green leave it...). Could help the bottom that's trying to support dead tissue...
Let us know; okay?
