Help! droopy branches on fiddle leaf fig tree!

The branches are droopy on my fiddle leaf tree...I put it on my patio to get fresh air and it started raining...and hasn’t really stopped(aka not a lot of sun) I brought it inside after about an hour but I think it may have had too much water? It’s looking so sad now..any help would be appreciated!

If this plant is usually inside, I think it’s more likely that it just isn’t used to things like wind and rain. It would have relatively weak structure and the buffeting and the weight of the rain weighing the leaves down probably made it droop, just like tree branches heavily laden with raindrops do. Unless it suffered plant equivalent of “strains” and “sprains” it will likely perk up after a day. (If it “ “pulled a tendon” or “muscle”, it may not be able to straighten up on its own....)

Be sure to put it in a sheltered location at first — protect from direct sun, wind, and rain — until it gets some resistance training and develops stronger structure.

Make sure your pot does have drainage.
