Newly planted Arborvitae

On May 31 I have 19 trees planted , about 2 weeks ago realized trees started to get brown leaves, checked for mites and paper showed we had them also has some webbing, sprayed after sun went down with solutions given to me at garden store, trees I I feel look worse?

I’m not sure what the the problem might be or the best solution is other than saying make sure to keep newly planted trees and shrubs well-watered during the first summer especially if it gets unusually hot.

I would suggest using a pair of scissors to trim off all browned parts (maybe catch trimmings in trash bag-lined bucket or box so they can be disposed of rather than letting them fall to the ground if you suspect pests or diseases). This way, you will be able to definitively see newly browned areas where the problem is persisting.
