Holly Cuttings in Sand

I have started some holly tree cuttings in a sand container with a plastic bag around it to keep moisture in.
Some of them are still green. I don't know if the have rooted or not. They was started around the 4 of July.

What is my next step before it freezes next week. Should I semi bury the sand container and take
the plastic bag off or it? Should I attempt to transplant the cuttings? What should be my next step?

Thank you,
