Need Help identifying this tree!

Any idea what type of trees these are? I have tons of them in the woodline around my house. I live in eastern NC.
Thanks in advance!

** in the close up photo of the bark, that's not the leaves of this tree, it's something else.

Yup, tree of heaven, aka stinktree. It is an invasive exotic weed tree. It never looks very nice because the branches and leaves are very sparse. Those branches are fragile and readily break off. It spreads rapidly by suckers and re-sprouts when cut down. And it smells bad.

And incidentally the leaves in the first picture I believe are privet hedge, another invasive, hard to eradicate exotic. You could stand to clear the area with a bulldozer and start over!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings! :(

Ick! What an interesting name, for such a bad tree! Guess. I'll be getting rid of all these. Thanks everyone!

You'll know why they call it stink tree when you begin cutting them down. Doesn't matter how you do it, they stink. Make sure you paint the trunk with a stump killer or you'll be fighting even more next year.
