Pruning in Hawaii

I have recently moved to Hawaii and would like to know when the best time is to prune the bushes that are around the house. The last people how rented here did not take care of them and they are all different heights and some look as if they are about to die.

NaniLana,

Sorry, living in such a different climate than you I can't offer much. If you know the species of the plants in question you should be able to find some specific information.

This may help as well.

Gnome,

Thanks for the info. It seems that most pruning is done in late fall and early winter. It is the time where there is the most rain the sun is not as bright and hot as in the summer.

Lets just hope that I don't kill anything.
