Best Loropetalum for a foundation hedge
I'm in a new house and starting to re-do the landscaping. First is yanking up half dead boxwoods. Against the house's light brick, I want to plant a loropetalum foundation hedge that would grow (or I would trim) to about 5-6 feet. My candidates are: Ever Red, Darkfire, Blush, and Red Diamond. Is there a best variety for dense growth that would be agreeable to formal shaping? Thanks.
