Buddleia

Hello can anyone suggest a robust buddleia I can plant here in hove - I live right on the seafront and we are somewhat wind lashed. Thank you

Since I too am geographically challenged, I looked it up and Hove is a town on the southern coast of England.
In my experience, buddleia are pretty hardy, but then I am in zone 7a, and not on a wind-whipped shore. I guess I would say the common purple variety would be best, rather than going with some hybrid that won't be as sturdy.
We call these "butterfly bushes" around here and they are fairly care-free except to prune back in fall or spring as needed.
Welcome!!
