Rainbow eucalyptus help
About 8 weeks ago, I was given a rainbow eucalyptus tree. It is about 5 feet tall with a trunk 3cm diameter. I planted it in a pot slightly larger than the original in potting soil and perlite and placed it in part sun on my patio. About a week later, it started to lose its leaves. It looked a bit dried out & I suspect the leaf dropping was a combination of shock and under watering. Eventually it lost all of its leaves. I have been watering it every 2-3 days. Now I have lots of new branches sprouting, but they are only on the bottom half of the tree. Should I prune the tree down to the location of the fresh growth? Any tips? Thanks!!
