Fir - browning from inside

Hello Everyone,

I live in Spain and four years ago I bought a small fir tree.
It is in a pot. The pot has holes in the base to stop water retention.
It receives direct sunlight for about 3 to 4 hours a day.
I mist it in the early morning and in the evening.
It is watered once a week - or when the soil appears to be very dry.
It is going brown from the inside.
There is no appreciable wind.
I try to attach 4 photos to enhance the details.
Any assistance to cure this problem or prevent it from getting worse, would be appreciated.
Thank you,

Colinito.

I really do hate to be the voice of doom here, but that tree is a goner. Sorry.

Just going by your photos - the container is way too small for a tree that will get (or wants to get) way too big eventually. In addition, 3-4 hours of sun isn't nearly enough.

You could try to re-pot it into a MUCH larger container & give it more sunlight, but at this point it may be too late.

Again - sorry.
