Protecting Boxwoods over winter

Hello; In the past I have covered my boxwoods with burlap to protect them from the wind and snow load. But the snow sat ontop of the burlap and crushed the bushes.

This winter I plan to cover the boxwoods with a A-Frame to protect the plant. Here is what I plan to do build 2 wood frames
and cover the frames with white poly tarps then on the end of the a-Frame I plan to attache burlap to prevent the wind burn on the sides of the a-frames. I would like to know if you think this is an acceptable solution to protect the plants?

I don't know where you live but here in zone 6 boxwoods are evergreen and require no protection

live in WNY. Yes I know that boxwoods usually do not need extra protection but in WNY we get alot of snow and several of the boxwoods that I have have had wind burn during the winters.

How do they look now? One of my boxwoods got eaten by crazed deer amd came back with new flush foliage.
