Does is flower? Are there little berry-like seed pods after if flowers? Do the trunk/trunks exfoliate?
Thanks for the reply. I am located in Phoenix, MD, Northern Baltimore Conunty. It's in a shaded area on our lot and I never noticed any flowers on it. I believe it just gets small leaves.

The trucks do exfoliate.

Looking at Google Images, it does look like a Crepe Myrtle.

Perhaps it never flowers due to the large pines that grew over the years?

This is very large .. it's probably 25' + high. We bought the home 2 years ago. I love the bark on it ... I've did no pruning on it or anything at all.
