Sumac Rhus Coriaria

Greetings, There is a type of Sumac I want very much to grow. Rhus Coriaria there are many things that do well outside of
what is considered their comfort zone. I can get the seeds, I might also be able to get the plant.

Problem is we have two places, one in the mountains near Lake Tahoe, California, the other is in the high desert of Nevada, both in zones that are a bit colder in winter than this Sumac is thought to do well in.
If you have this plant growing, I would be very much interested in what the Low temperature is in that area. Thankyou.

I do have an Oak Leaf Sumac, Rhus trilobata, that is very happy here in at the lower ranch, if I could get above mentioned Sumac growing here, I would be smiling big and long.

Well, no luck with the Sumac. So let's send this post to the bin.
