Help idenifying this tree

Hi
I have tried to identify this tree online and have had no luck. I found it in hardyness zone 2b in Alberta. I have not seen a similar tree to this in our area before. I would love to find out what it is an purchase some as it is different than our usually trees in the area.

Re: Help idenifying this tree

The needles are the same I see as the Tamarack needles on our Tamarack trees. But the branches are so different like long monkey tails. Maybe just a different type of Tamarack?

Okay it is winter here now, -10C and needles still nice and green. I guess it is not a Larch or Tamarack then. I am not sure what else it could be?

Google Norway Spruce, it might be a better match.
