wisteria

hello all

I have a white wisteria which is about 8ft tall and have just recently planted it from its pot, the last couple of weeks I've noticed that the leaves are beginning to shrivel/go yellow, the area that I've planted it in is well drained but it does not look as healthy as it did do when it was in its container, is it worth potting it up again and would it be ok to plant in a rose, tree and shrub compost?

Maybe just transplant shock. An 8' tall vine is a big plant to transplant and more susceptible to shock. Once it gets used to it, it should be better off in the ground than a pot. Just be sure it is well drained but doesn't dry out until it gets established.

thanks rainbowgardener for your reply, so pleased to hear that I have not killed it and that there is a chance that it will get better once settled.

many thanks again
