Help with identifying
Hello people this is my first post an was hoping for some help on what this tree is?? Any ideas kinda thorny not sure I want it in the garden or not

Yes they will be poky in nature. It is an evergreen. It will not have thorns per say. But it will poke you a little.
We have eastern red cedars that grow wild here and spread like weeds. The seeds on them are little blueish berries that birds have to ingest in order for them to sprout. But there are female and male versions of them.
