I need to know how to prune a globus nana cryptomeria. Mine has grown beyond 4ft wide and tall. Do I take out the longest limbs at the root. I pruned it a little once with a little shearing and it was awful.
Tip prune to a side branch/joint. It will take some time to do it and make it look unsheared, but can be done with time and patience. Shearing is quicker to get to size, but longer to get a really good looking plant back. Either are fine.
