Acer tree leaves

My mother has a small Acer tree in a pot in her garden. It seems to be doing ok, except that most of the leaves have frizzled at the edges now, and doesn't look good. It's been happening every year for the last few years.

Anyone have any idea what is causing this, and any steps I could take to prevent it ?

I have attached a few of photos.

Thank you in advance.

Phil

sun and wind .... move it to another position in semi shade that is protected from wind ... it also like a slightly acid soil, so add some fertilizer that is acidic.

You may want to read up on keeping your tree in a pot on the Bonsai Learning Forum & Library.

Your soil may not admit enough air in that pot.
